Romance blooms at Helford View, a colourful waterside wedding venue situated on the banks of the North Helford Passage. Here, amidst the beauty of sloping wildflower fields and secret woodland banks, a whimsical celebration comes to life. Complete with sweeping sea views, featuring a festival style celebration in an enchanting village of bell tents.

It was a glorious July weekend with clear blue skies and bright sunlight—perfect for an outdoor wedding. Helford View was host to a beautiful Sailcloth Marquee by Absolute Canvas. Featuring tables named after Cornish landmarks and trestle tables adorned with scented blooms. Plus a stunning bell tent village for 82 guests set up by Ysella. We were delighted to provide 20 fully furnished tents for the wedding guests, ensuring comfort and tranquility awaited them upon arrival. We also provided a Honeymoon Suite for the beautiful brides, Georgia and Kate. Guest tents were pitched along the water’s edge in front of a beautiful wildflower meadow. This created a stunning entrance to the bell tent village, alive with the sound of bees and wildlife, and the scent of fragrant flowers. Georgia and Kate’s elegant bridal suite was pitched further away next to a grand old oak tree for added privacy.

The Sailcloth marquee was filled with charming DIY elements, and the sounds of a curated Spotify playlist. Georgia and Kate finished their spectacular day with a glitter bar and a roaring fire pit with toasted marshmallows.
This was a multi day wedding celebration, the overnight camping allowing proper time to be spent with loved ones. The day after the wedding, guests joined the newlyweds at the Ferry Boat Inn, just a short stroll away from the venue. Serving bloody Mary’s and bacon sandwiches, easing everyone back to life after the party. Needless to say, our whole team was also excited at the prospect of a cold beer once we finished the setup!

Helford View’s field hire service truly gives couples a blank canvas to build their bespoke, dream wedding day. The venue offers ample space to either highlight the glamping area as a central feature or tuck it away for a more secluded, discreet feel.
