Situated on the beautiful rolling headland of the Roseland Peninsula, overlooking St Mawes and the Fal estuary. This breathtaking blank canvas was the setting for Alice and Nathan's festival-style tipi wedding this a September.

Carwarthen Farm is a prime location for a marquee reception on the Roseland. Three peaceful and tranquil fields are available for exclusive use, with the most incredible views, and lots of space for your guests wedding accommodation. If you're looking for a venue that is vast and affordable this is the exact place you need. If you've ever tried to book wedding accommodation in Cornwall it's safe to say it's not easy and frequently expensive. The option to host your guest with your reception marquee is a real cost and life saver.
Cool camping
Alice and Nathan celebrated in very cool Giant Hat Nordic Tipi, opened up to overlook the Fal river. The guest Glamping field adjacent meadow was lined with unmown grasses and wildflowers. We basically set up a guest hotel managed by bees, butterflies. It was glorious!
The Bell Tent camping area is huge and can accommodate up to +50 Bell Tents for camping. For Alice and Nathan we set up 20 Bell Tents accommodating nearly 70 guests. Plus a Honeymoon Bell Tent for the Bride and Groom, which was our premium Star Bell Tent. Extra romantic with scalloped edges, adorned with fairy lights, and a dreamy real bed. It was a delight to see our Bell Tents glowing softly in the moonlight with the river Fal shimmering behind.
Alice and Nat were able to enjoy sea swims, games and a beach photoshoot without having to leave the venue. A festival-themed wedding extravaganza. It was a weekend filled with love, laughter, and some seriously amazing vibes. Big cheers to the couple, and here’s to a lifetime of awesome adventures together1
Accessibility
Carwarthen Farm is a brilliant venue for a wedding set over a long weekend giving you time to relax with guests, and enjoy the myriad of coastal activities you could possibly think of on the Roseland Peninsula. The nearest churches to Carwarthen Farm are St Just in Roseland and Philleigh, perfect for ceremonies. It's absurdly easy to reach too, whether you're traveling by car, plane or train. Or if you're in the mood for a rather unusual method of travel, you can also catch the King Harry Ferry. Carwarthen Farm is just 20 minutes from Truro, Cornwall's capital city. Guests can reach Truro by GWR trains direct from London, or Penzance.
